Here are the most common elements of a food blog’s footer:

  1. As Seen In section
A row or grid of logos, typically in black and white so it’s easier on the eye and not too bright and distracting. These aren’t usually linked.

  2. Logo
Repeating the branding at the very bottom of the page.

  3. Social icons
Typically Instagram, Pinterest, Facebook, TikTok (gaining momentum), YouTube, and sometimes Twitter.

  4. Mini menu
This may include links found in the main menu and links not found elsewhere such as About, FAQ, Work With Me, and Contact.

  5. Subscribe
This won’t be the only place to subscribe, but it’s an added opportunity if someone gets to the bottom of the page.

  6. Fine print
Copyright, Privacy Policy, Disclosure, and site credits.

  7. Back to top button
I don’t use this in our designs because we always use a sticky header so that the main menu and logo are always available and this is the main reason why people want to get back to the top of a page. (Phone browsers also provide the ability for people to do this themselves too.)

As an example, here’s the work-in-progress Design Food package footer style:
